We were in “Jeff’s Musical Car“! So much fun!
Jeff Boudreau, from Moncton, NB, drives around the country making video recordings of musicians from all sorts of genres for his weekly video podcasts. In the back seat of his car! Our session will not be available for a couple of months from the looks of the schedule already online at: JeffsMusicalCar.com
Not to worry! We’ll post the video as soon as it’s up.
Great night at Rose & Kettle Concert!
Our gig on Jan 23rd was really well received. The Rose & Kettle is a real, honest-to-goodness, ‘listening room’ and the audience was fabulous. Positive feedback all round. Poor Robert had to race back home at the last minute for a missing piece of equipment and was a bit stressed, but once we settled in, the evening moved along really well. Cailin brought out three brand new tunes and the thunderous applause said it all.
Vince Morash and the gang have an awesome venue – seven years in the running now – and we look forward to seeing other artists there soon. And the baked goodies they offer up for sale are to die for.
Snow to green grass, sunny days to rain
We’ve been busy with more than our music. We’ve had two good snowstorms in the last couple of weeks, but it was warm and sunny again yesterday, so we know spring is on it’s way. We love the variety on our seasons here in Nova Scotia and our friends back in BC don’t bother us too much with their daffodil pictures.
And with the coming of Spring, ROCA House is getting geared up for the Spring line-up of incredibly talented artists to perform here!
